My Story
I passionately believe that human beings have an innate ability for growth, healing and change and that it can often be in the darkest of times that opportunities for growth germinate.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling from the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling and draw on a broad range of therapeutic modalities in order to meet your individual needs.
As well as my ongoing training I have had extensive experience working with adults with diverse therapeutic needs, both within a charitable organisation and in private practice. I am registered with the BACP and working towards accreditation.

My Approach
The different types of therapy available today can sometimes be a lot to navigate and it can be helpful to know a little of what to expect before taking the first steps into counselling.
My approach is warm, non-judgemental and empathetic and I endeavour to work collaboratively with you and at a pace that feels safe. My aim is to take the time to understand you and your experiences deeply in order for you to then better understand yourself.
For me, the most important element of successful therapy is the relationship we build together and it is my aim to establish a unique and trusting relationship in which you feel able to bring your full self and feel fully accepted.
